About us

Bradford Women Singers brings together music, politics and friendship.  We sing about what is important to us: injustice and war, the earth, love and hope.

We are
Suzanne Booth, Carol Hayward, Anahita Hayrabedian, Juliet Prager, Helen Blackwell, Mary Dowson

We learn songs by ear – we don’t have a leader and rarely use written music.  As well as singing and developing new songs, we spend time talking, eating and drinking together – and go on the occasional demonstration. Bradford Women Singers has been together – in different formations – since 1984.
