This snow’s beautiful but cold – so we’re warming up our vocal chords, polishing our tuning and getting ready to raise the rafters. After a bit of a winter break, we’re gearing up for two great fundraising gigs.
- On Sunday 10th February we’ll be at Manningham Mills, Bradford, supporting the Friends of Sabalamby Unnayan Samity – helping women and children in Bangladesh. For tickets please email FSUS – locshaw@gmail.com or bridget.maguire@blueyonder.co.uk
- Saturday 2nd March will see us joining the wonderful Men Folk Waits for a Raise Your Banners fundraiser. We’ll be singing at the Irish Centre, Rebecca Street, Bradford BD1 2RX. For tickets please email us – singers@bradfordwomensingers.org.uk or ring 0780 8887553.
Our gigs aren’t just about fundraising (although, yes, we do want to help these groups raise money) – they’re about solidarity – getting together to focus on some of the good things we’re working for.
