Our new favourite group

On Friday we had the chance to see Dikanda www.dikanda.com/en in concert – an energetic, fun band from Poland.  Fronted by Anna Witczak (aka Claudia Schiffer) with her amazing vocals and huge smile,  supported by two Katarzynas and three chaps at the back (good musicians all, but we couldn’t really see them up there).  The group claims to be ‘inspired wholly by Poland’s folklore, Oriental culture, Balkan, Macedonian and Romanian‘ which to be honest is a pretty good description of some fabulous music.  Afterwards, we warmed up under the stars, by a roaring open fire.  What a great night out!
